Resenha: The Drag Hook – Lethal Dose

The Drag Hook é uma banda de Hardcore Punk de Cleveland (Ohio, EUA) que faz um som sujo, rápido e pesado, por vezes beirando ao Crusty. Seguindo a ética Straight Edge/Vegan o grupo lançou em 09 de Janeiro o registro “Lethal Dose”.

Em pouco mais de 6 minutos os caras mostram para o que vem, fazer um hardcore rápido, sujo, gritado, sem muitas frescuras, músicas curtas e com letras, principalmente, propagando ideias Veganas. Podemos ver isso nas musicas “Ignorance is Complicity” e “Not in my Name”, com os versos:

Com 7 faixas o disco se mostra coeso, sem ter uma ou outra musica que não encaixa muito bem. Grande destaque para as musicas “Excuses, Excuses”, “Ignorance is Complicity” e “Not in my Name”.

Lethal Dose é um registro que me agradou muito tanto sonoramente como liricamente, é um registro que indico para todos, independente de serem, ou não, Vegans e/ou Straight Edge.
